Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Mea Fabula Studio website and the photography services provided. By engaging my services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Definitions

• "The Photographer", "I", "me", "my" refers to Mea Fabula Studio.
• "The Client", "you", "your" refers to any person, body of persons, firm, or company with whom the Photographer enters into a contract for the sale of goods or provision of services.
• "Images" means any photographs, prints, transparencies, images, files, or other media produced by the Photographer.

2. Booking and Payment

A non-refundable booking fee is required to secure the date and services of the Photographer. This fee will be deducted from the total cost of the package.

The final balance is due no later than 14 days before the date of the event or photoshoot.

Failure to make full payment on time may result in the cancellation of the booking.

3. Cancellation

If the Client cancels the booking more than 30 days before the event, the booking fee will be forfeited. Any other payments made will be refunded.

If the Client cancels the booking within 30 days of the event, the full amount of the contract will be due.

In the unlikely event that the Photographer is unable to perform to the guidelines of this contract due to an injury, illness, act of God, or other cause beyond the control of the Photographer, the Photographer will make every effort to secure a replacement. If a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability is limited to the return of all payments received for the event.

4. Image Delivery

The Photographer will endeavour to deliver the final, edited images to the Client within 4-6 weeks of the event date.

The Photographer will deliver the images via a secure online gallery. The Client will have access to this gallery for a period of 12 months.

5. Copyright and Usage

The copyright in all Images created by the Photographer is and remains the property of the Photographer in accordance with the Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988.

The Client is granted a license for personal, non-commercial use of the Images. This includes printing, sharing with friends and family, and use on personal social media.

The Client may not sell, reproduce, or otherwise use the Images for commercial gain without the prior written consent of the Photographer.

The Photographer reserves the right to use the Images for promotional purposes (e.g., website portfolio, social media, exhibitions). The Photographer will not use any Image for which the Client has raised a specific objection in writing.

6. Liability

The Photographer shall not be liable for any failure, in whole or in part, to perform their obligations where failure arises as a result of an event or circumstances beyond their control.

The liability of the Photographer for any claim, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), or otherwise, for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services shall be limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the services.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
